Supporting Youth & College Students

The teen and college years bring enormous changes—academically, socially, emotionally, and in relationships with family and friends. Young people may be dealing with anxiety, ADHD, academic pressure, perfectionism, friendship and relationship challenges, low self-esteem, or uncertainty about who they are and where they fit in.

I work with teens and college students to create a space where they can talk openly without feeling judged or lectured. Together, we'll work on understanding what's contributing to the difficulties they're experiencing while developing practical skills to manage emotions, cope with stress, improve relationships, build confidence, and handle challenges more effectively.

For teens, I also recognize the importance of working with parents while respecting the therapeutic relationship and the teen's need for privacy and independence. When appropriate, I help parents better understand what their teen is experiencing and identify ways they can support them at home.

College Transitions

Transitioning to college is a significant milestone, often accompanied by a shift in independence and academic pressure. I support students in navigating social anxiety and the unique challenges of academic life, providing a collaborative space to build resilience and clarity.
