Invest in your mental health.Â
Let’s start the conversation.
As a Westchester therapist for teens and adults, I provide both in-person and telehealth therapy tailored to each client's needs. A warm, personalized approach to therapy that helps you better understand what's getting in your way and develop the tools to move forward with greater confidence.

A Personalized Approach to Therapy
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Together, we'll look at what's contributing to the difficulties you're experiencing, gain a better understanding of how you think, feel, and respond, and develop strategies you can use in your everyday life. I integrate evidence-based approaches including CBT and DBT to help you manage difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, and make changes that feel right for you.Â

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a therapeutic relationship. It is also considered an intake session, so I will ask more questions than I typically would during future sessions. This helps me understand not only what brings you to therapy, but also the experiences and circumstances that have shaped who you are today.

We'll talk about what you're currently experiencing, your reasons for seeking therapy, and relevant aspects of your personal and family history. I'll also ask about areas such as relationships, education, work, previous mental health treatment, and other experiences that may be important to understanding your concerns.

Most importantly, the first session is a conversation, not an interview. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, share what you're hoping to get out of therapy, and get a sense of whether you feel comfortable working with me. Together, we'll begin identifying your goals and developing a plan for our work moving forward.
